Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
"A wise man is superior to any insults which can be put upon him, and the best reply to unseemly behavior is patience and moderation." -- Moliere.
Yes, I want to talk about "Patience" today. I want to make it very general but if one of you cannot take this easy, it could be about you. No. It must have something to do with you and other people. But it is not all about patience itself. Of course it has something with it.
INSULTS.
"Insults are the business of the court." -- Naguib Mahfouz.
So, I bet every people in this world must have been insulted (at least once) and sorry to say, insulting. Am I right? No?
You know why people insulting others?
"They could be insecure with themselves and feel better directing the attention to others. Sometimes people who are angry insult other people because they are not mature enough to think of a different way to handle their anger except to try to start a fight or to try to make the other person feel bad." -- Why do people insult other people?
The aim of insulting people is to hurt them. The more you feel insulted, the more they will insult you. That is why you should just take that as a constructive criticism. Once they insulted you, it means, they are giving you the chance to improvise yourself. Seriously.
Just don't lose your mind over it. What they are saying is their own opinion. Well, being judgmental is what human being best at. They don't really know what was and what is happening to you and situation you are in.

Now, patience.
Patience in Islam is one of the best and most valuable virtues of life. Through patience, a Muslim believes that an individual can grow closer to God and thus attain true peace. It is also stressed in Islam, that God is with those who are patient, more specifically during suffering. Some of the Quran verses about patience urge Muslims to "seek God's help with patient perseverance and prayer" (2:45) and "give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere" (2:155-157). The Quran states that Muslims should "Persevere in patience and constancy" (3:200) and "be steadfast in patience" (11:115). It notes that "No one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint, none but persons of the greatest good fortune." (41:35).
To handle or face those insulting statement, patience is the virtue.
Allaah has given glad tidings of three things to those who are patient, each of which is better than that for which the people of this world envy one another. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):“but give glad tidings to As‑ Saabiroon (the patient).156. Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’157. They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”[al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
Hopefully this entry can help most of you. Well, it should better be.
